What is crowdfunding?

Story
we are trying to rise money for a short film to be featured in the Cannes Film Fest and other short film festivals. from there we will be making more promo videos for companies and directing more films for the future.
we need this funding to go towards with film for props,licences,actors,locations and equipment. To do this would be a dream come true along with your help all names will be mentioned in the credits at the end of the film.
