Just before Christmas a little boy's life hung in the balance as on December 1st he contracted Meningococcal septicaemia a strain of the Meningitis virus. The Princess Alexandra Hospital Harlow and then St Marys in Paddington saved his life. He has now been transferred to Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford and on Christmas Eve underwent further life saving surgery and had 3 limbs amputated as a result of this disease. This little boy is called Mason and he is 2 1/2 years old and 'Overdose of Joy' has chosen to sponsor his families appeal to raise money for the very best prosthetics and help aid Mason's rehabilitation, let's get together and make a difference to this little boys future.
