Help Me Raise £5,000+ for Two Causes Close to My Heart

Mental Health Support & DRG Frenchay AFC

I’m setting out to raise over £5,000 in support of two causes that mean the world to me: mental health awareness and the future of DRG Frenchay AFC. The funds raised will be split 50/50 between these vital projects.

Mental Health – Supporting the Samaritans

Mental health is something I’ve personally battled with for many years. I’ve experienced first-hand what it feels like to hit rock bottom—and the difference it makes to have someone there when it matters most. That’s why I’m supporting the Samaritans. They are a lifeline to thousands, providing a real emergency service powered by dedicated volunteers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your donation will help them continue their incredible, life-saving work.

DRG Frenchay AFC – Investing in Our Pitch

As someone deeply involved with DRG Frenchay AFC, I’ve seen how vital a proper pitch is to the success and growth of our club. Our current pitch is in desperate need of relaying and upgrading. A new surface would not only help us play through the tough winter months but also offer a safer and more enjoyable experience for both home and visiting players. Football is more than a game—it’s a community, an escape, and for many, a lifeline.

What Am I Doing to Earn Your Support?

I’ll be walking over 155 miles—from DRG Frenchay in Bristol all the way to the newly named Hill Dickinson Stadium, home of Everton FC in Liverpool, a club I’ve supported all my life.

This journey represents both of my passions—from the club I help run to the club I’ve always loved. I’ll be documenting every step of the way through blogs and videos to share the highs and lows of this incredible challenge.

i will be leaving from the DRG pitch August 5th and arrive in liverpool in time for the friendly match between Everton FC and Roma at the new Hill Dickinson stadium, i will be granted access to the ground and the match apon arrival for proof of completion along with live videos and feeds along the way

How to Donate

I’m collecting donations through JustGiving, a fast, simple, and secure platform. Your details are safe and protected, and once you donate, the funds will be transferred directly to the causes. It’s the most efficient way to support and ensures your generosity makes an immediate impact.

Thank you for supporting two causes that change lives every day—whether by helping someone in crisis or giving them a pitch to escape to for 90 minutes. Every donation counts.
