Story

Freestyle Urban Soccer CIC would like to offer FREE street based youth engagement activities within the neighbourhoods of greatest need, at the times we feel is most needed in and around Chorley by providing FREE pop up doorstep activity sessions in the evenings & weekends once Lockdown is over.

These sessions aim to benefit the whole community by increasing physical activities, reducing youth related anti-social behaviour, reducing the fear of crime and the negative perceptions of young people whilst creating fun, ensuring young people are safe, know how to stay safe and have the skills and confidence to make positive informed choices that improve their own lives now and help them to fulfill their potential in the future.

We all know Football is at its lowest ebb, but these activities will really help turn that around and will help to become a powerful force for affecting change in our society as the universal language of football makes it an excellent vehicle for tackling significant issues and hard-hitting messages around Child Criminal Exploitation, Child Sexual Exploitation, Domestic Abuse, Knife Crime, County-Lines Drugs, Alcohol, Addiction, Mental Health and Discrimination that will all be addressed via these sessions.

Please help us to keep this valuable community services going after COVID19 lockdown so we can provide even more Free sessions by donating to our KICKCOVID19 appeal.
