Story

In an effort to raise funds for our academy kids at Ashfield FC, my brother in law and I are going to do the 'WEST HIGHLAND WAY at HOGMANAY' to help raise funds that will contribute to various costs such as new kit, facility lets, transportation and more.

Currently we have around 170 kids from ages of 3-15 years and our aim is to give all children a chance to play football and excel at it. Any money donated, however little, will allow us to maximise the use of resources and ultimately help our young people to improve and develop in football skills.

The West Highland Way is a gruelling 96 mile walk from Milngavie to Fort William, typically achieved over a 5/6 day period. However, our goal is to achieve this in 4 days (which is around 24 miles per day). We will be looking to bring in the new year in a unique, tough and ultimately cold way.

We thank you in advance for any donations made.
