I've raised £750 to support a fantastic new charitable foundation, Jonathan's Voice

On 23rd September I’m running the Bristol Half Marathon to remember my friend Jon in the city where we had both settled. Jon was a wonderful guy to know – a passionate Nottingham Forest fan, successful patent attorney, BBQ enthusiast, occasional trumpet player and someone with endless energy to take on new projects and challenges. Most of all he was a kind, supportive and unfailingly generous friend.
In October last year Jon unexpectedly and tragically took his own life at the age of 35.
Sadly Jon is not alone in this. Suicide is the single biggest killer of men aged under 45 in the UK and the underlying mental health issues often go unnoticed and undiagnosed.
His family have therefore set up a charitable foundation in Jon’s memory, Jonathan's Voice, the purpose of which is to work with organisations and individuals to promote mental wellbeing in the workplace and beyond.
I’m also therefore running to support the fantastic work of Jonathan's Voice. You can find more details about that work at http://jonathansvoice.org.uk and any donations would be most welcome.
