Story
The Lynching: The Last Rounds of Benny Lynch.
This critically acclaimed drama enjoyed a sell out Spring Tour 2017, commencing The Citizens Theatre, a poignant, pulls no punches drama on the life and legend of Benny Lynch. In and out of the ring.
A World First, when 'performance meets pugilism' the production worked in partnership with Local ABCs, to bring home this Champion's story and legacy.
We are now taking the Production to a different arena and plan to have the play filmed and develop the piece fully for the screen. Benny's legacy is for all. Support this project and help us get his story OUT THERE. We are touring the performance Autumn 2017 and Spring 2018 across Local Authorities in Scotland, following very much in Benny's footsteps, as he fought his way to becoming World Champion.
Benny Lynch was a man maligned by his own demons. He was however, a fighter and this makes his story an inspirational one.
