Story
Claire left a black bin bag of rubbish outside her barber shop and has been fined £2700 by Birmingham Magistrate Court for NOT using the correct colour. She didn't receive a notification, advising her of the correct procedure - but she has received the full weight of the law. As fellow barbers we have set up this page as we recognise the very real impact that a financial imposition such as this can have on a small business - and we also believe that the 'punishment' is wholly disproportionate to the 'crime'.
