I am Evie Press and I am a fifteen year old student in Colchester, Essex. Ever since I was very young, all I have wanted to do is sing, and have been having lessons for ten years. My passion is music and my dream is to become an opera singer- amazingly, this dream has gotten closer in the last few weeks. I have recently been offered a place at Junior Guildhall, the Saturday school for under-18 musicians at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama at the Barbican in London. This is an incredible opportunity for me but I have to raise the funds to be able to go. The fees, including one extra study and train fares to London, comes to an amount of £4,700. I am so grateful to be offered a place at such a prestigious school and hope that I will raise the money to be able to attend.
