I've raised £500 to give to school funds by running 100km for HBN

The past 15 months have been incredibly tough on our children and have highlighted the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
Henry Bloom Noble Primary School is putting an even greater focus on this and the School Association is determined to support the efforts of all the staff and children.
HBN School Association has always helped to fund extra-curricular events and other things which make school a happier place for children.
We need to keep doing that, everything from helping with the costs of trips to funding leavers’ hoodies or a bean bag for the fantastic new Bloom Room. These all contribute to the wellbeing of the school children.
The past year has had an impact on fundraising events and we need replenish the coffers.
As a member of the association I want to play my own part.
Running during the lockdowns definitely helped with my wellbeing, so I plan to run 100km over 28 days, from May 2-30, to raise funds for the association. to support school activities and extras that will help our children’s wellbeing.
Donations will go to the School Association and will support activities and trips in the current school year.
*The school association is an IoM Charity, no. 578, listed under the name of the Friends of Fairfield School Association.
