Please take a moment to read this, my name is Tony Bush, and I am taking part in FROM THE GYM TO THE RING, on November the 26, I will be fighting at Whitchurch sports centre Bristol, I am raising money for a charity called Clarity. They are a mental health support group based in North Devon and they provide affordable counselling and support to those that are experiencing emotional or mental health problems as well as supporting those bereaved through suicide, The world health organisation ( WHO ) estimates that each year approximately one million people die from suicide which represents a global mortality rate of 16 people per 100,000 or one death every 40 seconds, it is predicted that by 2020 the rate of death will increase to one every 20 seconds this is why suicide needs to become a topic of conversation. I want to raise money as I have friends that have lost family members, being a Police officer I have seen the impact this can have on family and friends and I want to make a difference, I went on a charity walk this year with Paul Stevens who is the Patron of Clarity and he has inspired me to try and raise some money for this thoughtful caring charity, if you cannot make it to the event please do what you can to donate, many thanks
