Ahoy there Nessie!

On Sunday 27 April Paul and Tim are going to ride the Etape Loch Ness – a 66-mile (106km) race around the iconic Loch Ness. With 900m of ascent and big old 4.8mile climb into the Highlands halfway round, this is Scotland’s largest closed road cycle race. It’s a big one for sure!

We’re doing it because we love being out and about on two wheels – but we’re also raising funds for Read Easy Barnet, a fantastic local charity that provides free, one-to-one reading coaching to adults who can’t read. Paul is a volunteer fundraiser for Read Easy Barnet and so has seen the difference that the charity’s work has made to people across the borough.

This is going to be a challenge for us. Nevertheless we’re up for it! A 40mile slog through Barnet and Hertfordshire on a freezing cold Sunday has whetted our appetites – punctures and all. Our eyes are well and truly on the prize!
