Story

Tia has been in our family lives from 9 weeks old and is a huge part of our lives, my children adore her and couldnt imagine life without her.
Tia last night collapsed and urgently had to call my local vets...tia is fully insured and up to date with all.her vaccinations. I rushed her to poole house surgery upon examination tia showed signs of a mass on her gum and after pain relief and sedation my vet is conviced this is cancer. 8.30.am.i made.the call.to my insurance.to be told anything affecting her gum is excluded in her policy...so cancer being on her gum cannot be covered.....i called my vet who.was appalled and.never known anything like.this.
The insurance company were not interested...if the cancer had been else where like mouth..tongue...lip she would of recieved help but because on the
Gum i dont stand any chance or hope for her.
I dont expect people to donate to my pooch who we love so much and totally understand if people dont but i have nothing to loose by trying ...my cost last night was £250 my operation on tuesday is £350 thats even before xrays...bloods...to.see if the cancer has spread....i did what i thought was right insuring tia and just shows you how easy they say no..

Another reason as to why im struggling with tias bill is because im waiting for a donor transplant for corneas and have been loosing my sight rapidly ..so unfortunatley i can no longer work full time hence why i always thought it was important to make sure everything insurance wise would be covered in case of any emergency xx
Thanking you.for.taking the time to.read my story much love paula.rhys and lola xxxx
