    Story

Philip and Alannah were both excited but terrified when they were told their son Matthew would have to be delivered 10wks early due to a ruptured placenta. He was born weighing a tiny 2lb! Matthew is now 8wks old and although he is doing fantastic in regards to weight gain, his lungs are not developing as well as they should have by now and doctors have informed that Matthew will most likely need to stay in neonatal intensive care for another 2 months yet. Philip and Alannah have been traveling to the hospital every day to visit their tiny son who is still not quite out of the woods. Yesterday (19th April) morning at 5am their phone rang and of course they immediately thought the worst. Thankfully it was not a call from the hospital but it was bad news. They were informed that their car had been burnt out in an arson attack. Thieves had attempted to steal the car but when they failed they set the car on fire instead. Their car was the only thing connecting them to Matthew and now its gone. If you could helpphilipise funds for them to cover travel expenses I would greatly appreciate it and I know philip and Alannah would too. And of course little Matthew would appreciate it aswell as he would get to see a happier mummy and daddy. If we could come together to help relieve them of this added worry it would be amazing.
