I'm raising £1500 to make a learning garden at Jackson Hall!

Story

I am on a mission to raise £1,500 for an inspiring education project that aims to transform an unused courtyard at Jackson Hall into a serene learning space. This space will feature comfortable benches, raised beds for growing plants, and a small pond, creating an oasis of calm where students can connect with nature. The image above is an AI-generated impression of what it might look like.

Our vision is to utilise this courtyard for Science lessons and all aspects of learning about the environment. It will serve as a quiet green retreat for our students and all users of Jackson Hall to enjoy. The best part? Our students will actively participate in making, maintaining, and decorating this beautiful courtyard, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility for our environment.

Thanks to generous support from Community Nature Connections, we have secured a grant that covers the cost of materials needed for this project. Now, we are reaching out to you to help us raise the funds necessary for the labour and expertise of skilled builders who will bring our vision to life.
