Weʼve raised £750 to repair criminal damage to our social enterprise shop

Funded on Monday, 27th August 2018

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

I run a little shop in Wigton Cumbria. It is a social enterprise started by a group of ladies with learning differences. The girls make things which we sell in our shop

( they made the teddies in the photo). All of our profits are donated to local groups (for people with learnung diffences) to help fund outings and social events. I run the shop full time and do not take a wage. I also work for Domino's to keep myself afloat.

This weekend we had the shop window put in.

We can not get insurance to cover the window and the cost of replacing

it is unreal. Money we just don't have.

We won't let this stop us trading but as every shop keeper knows your window is your best salesman.

Please, please, please help us to continue our valuable work.

    Thank you x

A couple of years ago you gave my daughter a broomstick out of your window display for her Halloween costume. Here is the pay back for your kindness.

You were so kind when I came in, and I'd like to help pay towards the window. Hope it gets fixed soon and stays fixed.
