Alness Rock Challenge's theme in 2018 is The Piper Alpha and members Paul Mitchell and Ana MacPherson are fundraising towards their Rock Challenge Scottish Final bid in June 2018. To raise funds they are taking part in Tough Mudder Scotland along with family and friends as part of Team MudCro Highland.

It costs thousands of pounds for the Alness Rock Challenge team to reherse, compete locally and to produce excellent sets and costumes. Alness have made the Scottish final in Dundee in June 2018 again this year. With the transport and accommodation for nearly 100 kids, teachers, youth workers and support staff it can be a massive expense. Many members, family and friends of Alness Rock Challenge have been raising funds and all money raised here will be added to these donations.

Paul and Ana completed tough mudder last year and they raised nearly £1000 which they donated to The Alness Rock Challenge 2017. This year they have decided to donate funds to Alness Rock Challenge again.

Team MudCro Highland (formerly Team Fyrish) consist of - Paul Mitchell, Ana MacPherson, Finlay Beattie, Lindsay Brown, Louise Brown, Jack Brown, Paul MacPherson, Dylan MacPherson, Scott Mitchell, Joan Mitchell, Martin Caldwell, Greame Robertson, Cameron Robertson, Jacqueline Annal, Peter Annal and Jordan Mitchell.

The team shall be taking part at Tough Mudder Scotland 2018 on 16th June 2018 at Drumlanrig Castle. An update of how the team did shall be available right after the event.
