I'm raising £5,000 for Heart of Life Shelter in Egypt.

As many of you know, Hoda rescues many sick, neglected and abused dogs from the streets of Egypt. Her shelter cares for over 700 dogs, which without Hoda's amazing work would most likely have died alone on the streets with no one to love them.

Recently the Freezer has stopped working. We need vital repairs to the wall which is unstable and some one has set light to palm trees along the outside of the shelter wall and the flames were blowing toward the dogs. This has weakened the wall structure even more. Items have been stolen and in general there is often criminal activity in the area making it not a particularly safe area for the dogs. Moving the shelter takes a huge amount of funds so for the time being we need to repair and replace what's needed and make it as safe as we can as this is only place these dogs can call home.

We would like to raise enough funds to cover the vital repairs and buy a new freezer, along with all the day to day running costs of the shelter and keeping our dogs healthy and cared for.
