I've raised £5000 to The family & the boy who are victims of the attack in our city on 6th June & with any remaining credit going to the Air Ambulance Charity.

Following the shocking assault on the young student visitor from Germany on the 6th June 2019 there has been an overwhelming response from the people of Canterbury to raise funds to assist the victim and his family.
The victim has suffered life threatening injuries and is at present in a critical condition. He was rescued by the Air Ambulance service and is now being cared for by our brilliant NHS in London.
At present the objective of this fundraising campaign is for the victim and his family as his recovery may be a lengthy process, with his family having to stay in London by his bedside.
Should any of the funds raised not be required by the family the collection will be donated to the Air Ambulance Charity.
This attack on our city CANNOT be ignored. Our city has welcomed visitors for centuries, it is renowned around the world for the hospitality we offer, and the fact that businesses and local people who rely on tourism and the students who come to our home to learn the English language & Canterbury’s way of life means we must come together and show our support.
All donations are welcome and we would ask you to share the fundraising page to people in this city who do not use social media.
To show that Canterbury is a city of compassion & solitary.
