On Sunday 4th December a number of Pearson Collge London students are taking part in the 'Do It For Charity - Santa Dash' in Victoria Park, London.

We will be running (dressed as Santa!) in aid of Charities 'Mind' and 'Toybank, India' and hope to fundraise as much as possible for them!

Charity 1 - Toybank, India:
Toybank believes that investing in the mental development of at-risk children through early childhood development programs ensures that they have the right stimulation and nurturing for a better perspective towards life in their adulthood.
Toybank's approach is to develop programs and initiatives particularly focusing on the behavioral and mental growth of at-risk children in their most impressionable years of life.
Their work to date has involved the setting up 250 'Toy Libraries' where children can participate in 'play sessions' and benefit from educational games that are available. 38,000 children and counting have benefitted from Toybank's work.

Charity 2 - Mind:
Mind provide advice and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem and campaign tirelessly to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Mind support over 375,000 people across England and Wales. Their services include supported housing, crisis helplines, drop-in centres, employment and training schemes, counselling and befriending.
