PCS Merseyside Home Office Branch are raising funds to support an organisation based in the Gaza Strip, Unite4Gaza. This group of brave support workers are risking their own lives under severe bombardment, providing food, water, tents and other basic essentials, to displaced families in the most desperate of circumstances.

As many of you will already know, the people in Gaza are facing unimaginable suffering. Hundreds of thousands have been killed during strikes, and many have died of starvation and disease, the majority being children. Just recently, one of United4Gaza's founding members lost members of his family in the bombardment. His young nephews were severely injured, one having his leg amputated at the thigh.

PCS is committed to supporting human rights organisations, trade unions and community groups responding to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. We continue to call for an end to the siege, the starvation, and the violence inflicted on the Palestinian people.
