Welcome to the Peacock Warrior Fund.

We have started this fundraising page in honour of our youngest Peachick - Lily. Bringer of sunshine, lover of mud, creator of chaos.

**Our first charity challenge is Mr Pea's 4x4x8 starting on 09/09/21. One of the most gruelling marathon challenges of all time, he’ll be running a total of 48 miles with very little sleep or rest time across 2 days. Funds from this page will be split between The Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome Foundation charity and a fund for specialist therapy and tuition for Lily.

From the day she was born Lily was examined, assessed and considered by doctors and specialists. Everyone wanted to know what was going on with her... she was very small, had a hole in her heart, both her elbows were congenitally dislocated, she had numerous bone malformations. When she got a bit older it was clear that she had minimal bowel control and significant co-ordination issues. Finally in 2021 she was diagnosed with an exceptionally rare genetic condition - Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome.

None of this has stopped Lily being a totally awesome kid. She loves singing, makes friends everywhere she goes and has a show stopping smile. But she does need some extra help along the way.
