Story

The team at Peak PM are preparing to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for Luke Mortimer- an inspiring young man learning to live with the impact of Meningococcal Meningitis Scepticemia, an illness which would normally only effect adults.

Following a long period in hospital where Luke spent time in an induced coma, his condition worsened resulting in the loss of all 4 limbs.

The team here at Peak are looking forward to raising funds for new prosthetic limbs. We’d appreciate your support by donating to our just giving page, just a few quid will help.

The Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside are among the best-known hills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a combined ascent of 5000ft. The challenge is to complete all 3 Peaks within 12 hours.

Steve, Mark, James M, James D & Richard will complete the challenge in September 2022.

Visit the Peak PM website for updates about our training walks for the challenge more information about out #This is Luke.
