    Story

As part of the second year architecture unit South Africa at the University of Nottingham, we have been given the incredible opportunity to participate in this project to build a crèche in Lesedi, a rural village north of South Africa.

Our aim is to improve their quality of life by designing, creating and building a facility that will accommodate and encourage the beginning of a young child's education. Anything we raise will go towards building materials and hopefully, if we reach our collective goal, a bore-hole for a more constant and reliable water supply.

For the past 9 years the University has built 9 educational facilities and they have all been an amazing success.
