to update people on Pippa and her condition since the last time I post on Facebook. before Christmas her health started to deteriorate quite quickly so that the experts at Great Ormond Street Hospital got together with the surgery experts at Papworth surgery hospital and people and consultants and specialists from all over the world and they found that there's only actually three previous reported cases of the type of pulmonary hypertension Pippa has and that the surgery they had told us could be possible had never been done on any one patient under the age of 14 so that if we was going to say yes to surgery that it would be very risky operation and that would take at least an hour eight hours and that's because they have so little information and previously knowledge of something specific as Pippa’s case thatIt would help a little bit might not help what the effect might be after it or even if she make it through the operation at the time just after Christmas because It’s got worse again and me and Pippa was taken to great Ormond Street when the specialist consultant came to see us he said that we was going to do the operation while she was here this time so a few days later the surgeon came from Papworth hospital and they came and chatted with me and Claire and told us on the risk soundI was going to happen after it but that the way Pippa’s health was without trying that she probably wouldn't have another year and that she was going to start suffering and being very ill and that this even though they had no knowledge of what it might do at least this give us a better chance so Pippa had a eight hour operation that actually lasted for 12 hours and she was very very weak and very tired and needed to be resuscitated twice during it afterwards she had to be kept on life-support and that she hadFor a week after after coming off the ventilation and the sedation she started to make a really strong improvement and a really good recovery which is carrying on for the last 7 weeks and hopefully she's coming out of hospital tomorrow they flew us back via the helicopter two weeks ago me and Pippa and Claire to come for me in Sheffield we don't know at the minute if this is going to be a long-term fix or short-term fix but she's a lot better now than she was before she went she is very weak she's had to learn to walk again but in herself she’s had no attacks and stats so much betterPressures are a lot lower and that even though they didn't remove all of the clots they removed a lot of it and that's helped her massively like I said we don't know what's coming in the future with it but right now I was a lot better and hopefully pretty soon we can start making some more great memories together as a family and get back home first back to her sister and hope everything is is good for good bit of time in the future.
