I have decided to participate in the Bala Challenge 20 mile walk on Saturday 9th May 2026 in order to raise money for a defibrillator at Pen Y Bont Touring Park.

There are approximately 115,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests reported to the ambulance services in the UK each year. We hope we will never have to use the defib! But after our First Aid refresher and knowing that we are such a busy site, it is something we as a team are passionate about having access to at a moment's notice.
