"Penelope was born on New Year’s Day, 2019. She has the sweetest, most angelic voice, beautiful eyes, and a smile to melt your heart. She loves nothing more than princesses and wearing fancy dress.

On May 13th this year, our lives were rocked when we received the news that is every parent’s nightmare. Aged just five years, Penelope was diagnosed with leukaemia. There are no words to describe how much this has affected us and our family.

In response to this, I could not be more grateful for the support shown by SDE Electrical and anyone else within the company who has helped us at this difficult time. SDE Electrical are leading a collection for our benefit by being involved in the Peak District Ultra Challenge. For anyone who doesn't know what the Peak District Ultra Challenge entails, the challenge is to complete 100km which takes a tough and varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire's finest scenery within 36 hours.
