4,500km to Glasgow: Backing Women in Netball Every Step of the Way 🏐💜

At Peninsula Netball Club we have set ourselves a BIG challenge — raising the bar for our fitness, our team spirit, and the future of our club.

Our team are zig-zagging the way across the Ireland and the UK, collectively covering an incredible 4,500km as we “travel” towards Glasgow via many Netball hubs - aiming to arrive just in time for the Commonwealth Games. Every run, walk, cycle, and mile logged will bring us closer to our goal.

We are raising vital funds to support the growth of our club and create more opportunities for women through sport. Behind the scenes, like many grassroots sports clubs, we work hard to keep everything going. Hall hire, coaching, umpires and equipment all come with costs, and while our members pay their fees, they also cover their own training gear, match kit, travel and team activities. Donations will help us cover essential costs such as team kit, training gear, hall hire, travel to matches, and development opportunities for our players.
