    Story

    Penkridge Runners are more than a Running Club, we are a community of our own. Because of this we have decided we wanted to give back to our local community.

    Our commitee group came together to choose two local charities we were all passionate about raising monies for. These are;

    Penkridge First Responders

    and, TheMonckton Sports and Recreation Centre

    Our members will be attempting an ambitious combined relay challenge in teams of 4 around a 1K course. This will be combined with a family fun day all located within the grounds of the Monckton on 10th August 2019.

    We would like to welcome along anyone to come and join in with the activities, which will include;

    Bouncy Castles, Tombola, BBQ, Cake Stall, Massage Table, Raffle, Licenced Bar, Photographs and displays from local groups where it may be possible for you to take part.

    There will also be an opportunity for you to sign up as a member of Penkridge Runners at our membership stall.

    We would appreciate the support from you all to spur on the members when taking their turn in the relays. So bring along your banners and flags!!

    Some funds raised will also go back to fund activities for the group itself, as an incentive for the members.

    Please give generously and make sure you come along on the day!
