We have DONE IT! Thank you so much everyone for all your wonderful support and generosity. Also thank you to Variety Club, Lifeline 4 Kids, Boparan Trust, Worthing Lions, Children Today, Hassocks Help, Joseph Patrick Trust and Independence at Home - the wonderful charities who helped us get there. Dan and I haven't completed our 40 hours of voluntary work but we will keep our promise and make sure we do it all, over the summer. Thank you again - we are so relieved and grateful. What a great week! Lifeline 4 Kids can give us another £2,500, so the total raised (including crowdfunding) is £16,555.55! We now have £7,815.35 to go, so we are two thirds of the way there - brilliant. I've done 5 hours of volunteering so far - 3 hours at the Worthing 10K, an hour writing a blog for Independent Lives and an hour arranging a day out for the Duchenne Family Support Group. Next up is the Guild Care shop at Broadwater, where I'm hoping to clock up a few more hours. Thank you everyone for your support and good wishes so far!!

Had a great time helping the Chestnut Tree House team hand out water to the runners at the Worthing 10K this morning, as part of my 40 hour volunteering pledge. I have never experienced so many people being so pleased to see me! Our total raised for Dan's chair so far is now £13,180.65, making us well and truly over half way - thank you so much to all the lovely people and charities who have supported us.
