Sue (not her real name) was knocked off her mobility scooter a few weeks ago by a car without insurance. Sue has multiple health issues, including severe arthritis, diabetes, and very limited mobility. Without a strong roadworthy scooter she is practically housebound. Her scooter was more or less written off and at the moment is held together with gaffer tape. Sue is an incredibly giving person herself, despite her disabilites, helping with the homeless, foodbanks etc and asks for nothing in return. She also provides food for her elderly neighbours and will shop for them. Her being able to continue with this depends totally on getting around. I‘m making this appeal to help a truly deserving friend, so please search your hearts and dig deep. Thank you in anticipation. Penny
