    Story

This is my cat Penny. She's an indoor kitty that we've had since she was 11 ( she's 15 now) we got her from my partners grandad who could no longer care for her. she's always been hyper and energetic for her age but in the last week or so she's taken a turn. It started with her eating habits changing. She used to just dig right into any wet food you gave her and cleared the bowl. Now shes been nibbiling wee bits here and there and some days not eating at all.

Naturally the moment I noticed she wasnt eating , she was taken to the vet. They couldnt find anything majorily wrong after taking blood. The hospital has been discussed on the last 2 visits so that they can run more indepth tests and try and catch whats wrong. The problem with that is the cost , estimated at nearly £1000 before treatment of any condition they may find. My partner and i already struggle with money from month to month and this is not a cost we could even begin to get covered anytime soon out of what we earn and we are unable to obtain loans to help. We do have Pet Insurance out for her , but I have noticed some stipulations that may affect a claim being proccessed .

We're both just really worried about Penny and want what's best for her and if we had any way to pay the fees we'd do it in a heartbeat, but we dont and we're looking for all the help people can spare.

    Thanks for reading.
