I've raised £5000 to help Penpont, Keir and Tynron preschool stay open and have resources for our children.

Penpont, Keir and Tynron pre-school is a little nursery that has been running for over 18 years with two very dedicated staff. We offer funded places to children from three years of age and private places for children from 2.5 years of age. Because it is a parent-run nursery, not run by the Council, funds - everything from paper and paont to the wages of our staff- depend hugely on the number of pupils attending the setting every year. Unfortunately, for the last couple of years the numbers have been quite low and they are forecast to be a little lower for the next two sessions, however, we are determined to make thigs work for the nursery and keep it open for these children and the good number of very young babies now in the area.
We strongly believe that the nursery is extremely important for the village and for the school. It will encourage new families to move into the village and will help parents return to work, knowing that their children are happy, learning and well looked after. We think that if we lose our nursery, our school may also be affected... and we really don't want that!
Please help our nursery out! All the parents are currently thinking really hard how we can set up fundraising activities in these turbulent times. Every penny counts. If you can spare some money, however little that is, it will help us reach our goal!
Thank you very much for considering our cause.
