Story

Supporting our local community has been an essential part of the Penrose Group culture. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has proven that helping the wider community has equal importance. So, this year, the Penrose Group have partnered with a local charity, Dramatize and the national charity, MS-UK, to help them fund the fantastic work they do.

Dramatize.

Dramatize, based in Ashford, Surrey, a few minutes’ walk from Penrose Groups HQ, is a charity that provides a range of theatrical provisions to help further the personal development of adults with learning disabilities. Their services act as a leisure activity and a platform for individuals to socialise with other peers and learn valuable life skills inspiring independence for a lifetime of creativity. Dramatize work with different ability levels, providing care and support to ensure that their services are accessible to all. Dramatize encourages their students to believe in themselves, to develop and achieve the unexpected. Every penny donated will help Dramatize to build a better future for their students. This is their tenth year supporting adults with learning disabilities, and we want to support them to continue their hard for the next ten years and beyond.

MS-UK

MS-UK is a national charity that provides various services to enable people affected by Multiple Sclerosis to access the support and information they need to make informed decisions about their lives. As a wholly independent charity, they rely on our amazing fundraisers to help us to continue being here for those that need us most.

Every single penny donated really will make a difference to the work MS-UK do. For example, £50 could pay for a telephone counselling session, £200 is the cost of 10 complimentary subscriptions to their New Pathways magazine for those who cannot afford it. £2,520 would help us support people through our national MS-UK helpline and webchat for a whole week.

Please click MS-UK to find out more about their work.

Your support.

We know that COVID-19 has impacted us all. This probably is not the best time to ask for a donation, but Dramatize, and MS-UK rely on donations to provide their outstanding support, empowering people to live a happier life with respect, care and compassion.

Your generous donations will be split equally between Dramatize and MS-UK.
