We are curating a new run for the people to raise money for Palestine.

The People's Run for Palestine is a run organised by the people, for the people, to raise money for Palestine and awareness of the ongoing genocide that started on the 7th October 2023.

About the People's Run for Palestine:

There will be several people running a full marathon (26.2 miles!) from Hertford to Victoria Park in London, as well as those joining for shorter distances (half marathon, 10k and 5k). People will be running, walking, cycling, dancing, moving along the finish line however they want!

The motivation to create the People's Run for Palestine was due to the extortionate prices of joining a conventional marathon (£300+), as well as the fact that you can't raise money for Palestine for a conventional marathon. So we created our own, to raise money for organisations dealing with the genocide on the ground in the places that matter most.

About Dahnoun Mutual Aid:

We have chosen to give to Dahnoun Mutual Aid, a group of grassroots organizers working to provide life-sustaining aid in Gaza. Dahnoun is run entirely by volunteers and led by Gazawis inside and outside of Gaza. 100% of funds raised go directly to their teams on the ground. They work with a tight circle of long term partners in Gaza who carry out all distribution efforts. They also work with a growing network of volunteers to mobilize resources.

Their current aid efforts include: Monthly water distribution / Food/meals distribution in the North / Food/meals distribution in the Central and South areas of Gaza / Baby supplies (milk+diapers+clothes sets) and adult diapers for elderly/disabled people / Winter clothes for children and blankets / Tent distribution by purchasing and setting up tents for families and/or providing families the cost needed to purchase tents / Transportation assistance for displaced families returning to the North / Cash aid distribution.
