Story
A message from Alan and Jane, The founders of Pepis Refuge.
After finding a dog hanging from a tree on our land we knew we had to do something to help abandoned and ill-treated dogs in our region(Pedrera, Spain).
We had no intention of starting a refuge but our commitment to doing something lead to the opening of Pepi´s Refuge and our long journey began.
At times, due to the geographical remoteness of the refuge, the journey has been a hard one, but the motivation to give these wonderful dogs the chance of a better quality of life, for them to experience compassion after abuse and to give them hope for the future keeps us going.
Alan and Jane have dedicated their lives to Pepis Refuge for the last 14 years, they run mainly on donations and are now struggling to pay for vet bills and other expenses, they usually have around 70 dog at a time so as you can imagine the costs are a lot. Any small donations are welcome.

Jane and Alan you are incredible people, without you in the middle of the olive groves, hundreds of galgos, podencos and other spanish hounds would have had a terrible life.
