As a kid, I specifically remember the charity boxes next to the tills, filling them up, and the money spinners! Every single penny goes to the Houses to provde what they need for families with sick Children in hospital. It enables them to stay close and maintain a degree of normal family life.

Coca-Cola is another supporter that provides vending machines for families, free of charge. Places like these, rely on support and generosity of us, which enable then to help over 6,000 families a year.

Every bedroom has a telephone that is linked to the children's ward, to enable security that they can reach their loved ones at anytime..

My aim is to raise as much money as I can to get the houses brand new books for families to read, for the children in hospital and their siblings. It enables an extra gift to them, to help them, and be able to give something back to the volunteers and staff.

You can specify what House you'd like the money to go to by commenting when you make a donation, or you can give a general donation to which, it will be split! The total is gathered to create an end total, to which Usborne gives a free % on top of what is raised, in books!

Every one of us will know what it's like, and especially some of the resources that hospitals have. Some aren't as fancy, and lucky to have new books, and new resources. There are over 3, 000 books to chose from in the catalog, and every single one is suitable for someone out there!
