    Story

A career in the performing arts brings a unique set of stresses, concerns and challenges. There's rarely job security, hours are often unsociable, and there are immense pressures on looks and body image, to name just a few.

Performers in Mind is a platform to campaign and fundraise for mental health action in the arts. We are dedicated to working in the best interest of performers and their mental wellbeing.

We're fundraising to provide performing arts training institutions with a workshop on mental health and wellbeing. These workshops equip performers-in-training with the skills necessary to navigate the difficult conditions of employment within the arts industry. We're hosting a launch event for the charity which you can find out about here.

As well as all donations made on this page, all proceeds from the event will go to fund these wellbeing workshops, which you can find out more about here. You can also nominate your school to receive one of the workshops here.

Thank you for joining us in our belief that tailored mental health education should be a given in all learning environments. Thank you for helping to equip the next generation of performers with the skills they need to thrive in the industry.
