Story

We are asking for your support in this as a way of saying thank you to the Needham & Claydon Community First Responders who attended my wife and our sons mum, Rita Runnacles, when she suffered a heart attack at a bowls event in Needham Market Community Centre on 27th Feb. The quick response and actions of Mike the Group Coordinator undoubtedly helped to ensure that there was a positive outcome to the situation.

The Group need funds to provide equipment on an ongoing basis, and the immediate need is to fund the purchase of an NMA Smart Phone which the responders will use to provide a more targeted location to the emergency services, reducing the risk of wasted time searching for a location in an emergency.

Please support us in this worthwhile appeal. With thanks from all of us.

[Added 13-March: I didn't realise when I set this page up that minimum donations were £20. If you wish to donate less - and any donation is welcome - please contact me or the family. The boys and Rita are on Facebook, we are all on WhatsApp. I am sure if you know any of us you will be able to find a way to get in touch. If you are part of the Suffolk carpet bowls community we plan to have a donation box at the Random Triples event at Needham Market on 27th March.]
