Story
Why we’re back for Part 2
This spring and summer, the Caspian One community did something remarkable for our friend and colleague Pete Kiddle. After a life-changing cardiac arrest in July 2024 led to serious complications, Pete and his family have been facing a long road of rehab, care and adjustment. You rallied, you donated, you showed up... and together we raised £10,094 against a £5,000 target. View the Season 1 fundraising page.
Pete is still Pete - the smile, the humour, the grit. The need is also still very real. So we’re keeping the momentum going through autumn and winter with a fresh page and a call to carry this community’s kindness into the colder season ahead.
What we achieved together in Spring/Summer 2025:

> £10,094 raised to support Pete’s ongoing care and family needs
> A standout Dragon Boat Race day: we won every race, braved wind and rain, claimed the trophy, and the drumming was on point
> In-office fundraisers, raffles, cakes, and a huge £5,000 gift from a generous vendor partner
> Brilliant support across social: the whole business sharing, cheering and giving
Every penny will help with practical costs and planning for the months ahead, including rehab sessions, specialist equipment, and easing the pressure on the family while they adapt.
What’s next this Autumn/Winter:
> Run Bournemouth - our team lacing up to run for Pete
> Halloween special - details to drop soon
> In-office events - including a waxing day!
> Black-tie Christmas - we’ll celebrate, fundraise and finish the year strong
> We’ll post regular updates here with totals, photos and shout-outs
How the funds help:
> Ongoing rehab and therapy to support recovery and quality of life
> Specialist equipment and home adaptations to improve daily independence
> Family support for the new practical realities of care and transport
> Breathing room while the family navigates the long-term plan with clinicians and carers
How you can help today:
> Donate - anything you give makes a difference
> Share - post this page to your socials or company channels
> Join an event - run with us, dress up for Halloween, or back the Christmas fundraiser
> Matched giving - ask your employer if they match donations
> Corporate support - supplier or partner and want to help? Drop a note when you donate and we’ll be in touch
We’re starting at £2,000 and will raise the target in steps as we go. If you’re in the UK, don’t forget to add Gift Aid, it increases your donation by 25% at no extra cost. Thank you for standing with Pete. He looked after so many of us. Now we look after him and his family, together
