Story

I am thinking of shaving my head & beard to try to raise £500+ to send 2 of my son's on a once in a lifetime trip to Camp Haliburton Scout Reserve in the great Canadian Wilderness.
Unfortunately due to health issues I am unable to work & therefore funds are very tight.
Damian has been my Young Carer for the last 8 years and Nathaniel is a Sibling Carer, who also helps look after his younger brother who has A.D.H.D., Chronic Tic Syndrome + certain other issues.
So, obviously Damian and Nathaniel have lost much of their childhood.
I want them to realise how much they mean to me, how greatful I am for all they do for me and that I will do everything I can to help send them on the adventure of a lifetime.
They are both very into the outdoors, great water sports enthusiasts and care about the environment. What better way to put their interests into reality;
Having to travel to a private island by raft, making a shelter to stay in to call home for a few weeks, surviving off the land where possible and being a vital part of a small team.
Hopefully this adventure will give them a real grip on reality. Teach them what is important in life and leave them with fantastic life skills.
I intend to "be brave and face a shave"..
I will shave my beard AND my head completely!!
