Weʼve raised £420 to Get Ian and Heather on to 4 wheels in Freetown, Sierra Leone

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
If you run a car, would you please consider donating the price of one tank of fuel?
My friends Ian Morris and Heather Baker are volunteering in Sierra Leone, helping with projects on food sustainability and increasing opportunities for disabled children. They want to set up a training centre to give adults better employment prospects, and are also helping to build a school, a birthing centre and a computer hub, as well as volunteering at a hospice. It’s busy!
They are self-financing and determined to be as self sufficient as possible. They do not rely on income from charities. Like lots of us, they have car trouble at the moment and are doing 100 miles a day on a tiny motorbike. It’s not safe, and makes it difficult for Ian to move his building tools around. We’d like to help.
If several people gave them a gift to the value of one tank of petrol then they would be able to get their vehicle back on the road. Or you could make your gift larger or smaller, just as you like! Thank you so much.

Thanks to everyone who donated. We raised a whopping £420, which will make a real difference. Ina and Heather are now back in Sierra Leone and will be starting on a new batch of projects. Thanks again for your help and support.
