Story
On the 27th of April 2021 Peter Gelson sadly passed away. He left behind a family and many friends that will all miss him dearly.

He was adored by so many, and there will be many who wish to remember him in the fondest way. As his grandson I can not think of a better way to honor his memory than by doing something challenging, yet amazing.
Peter always gave his best in everything he did, from playing for Brentford to caring for his family. He would never back out of any challenge, either on the pitch or in life.
With this in mind I came up with the idea of completing a challenge that most people would not think to do, Walk 90km (56 miles) from Staines to Hayling Island. Accompanied by my friend Ben, we will be attempting to walk this distance within 24 hours on Saturday 30th of May. Leaving Staines at 00:01am, we aim to reach our finish point of Inn on the Beach that same evening.
The funds raised will be going to two worthy causes. Firstly the Princess Alice Hospice, to aid the wonderful work that the nurses do for people that have also been in our situation. The other cause that will receive funds raised will be the RSPCA. This is a cause close to many peoples heart's including Peter's and Ben's.
