SATURDAY SEPT 5th 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE!!!!!!!

Hi we’re trying to raise as much money as we can for our mate, Gorton. Ste Pierce, Cris Smith, Mark Cain, Laurence Bennett, Mono, Lee Pierce, Liam Smith, Neil Bennett, Neil Cain, Connor Sanderson, Neil Smith and myself Peter Lawton are going to attempt the 3 peaks challenge in 24 hours!!! The challenge consists of climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfel Pike and Snowdon (the uks 3 biggest mountains) all within 24hrs! Any donations would mean the world to us! We hope that the money raised will help support Becki, Jack and Georgie at this difficult time!

Steven Gorton; father of 2, boyfriend to Becki, and friend to us all has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time. He was diagnosed with optical melanoma Christmas 2016 and this was treated with surgery. Unfortunately, in June of 2020 the melanoma came back at stage 4 and has now spread to his liver, lungs and bones. Steven started Immunotherapy with the hope of slowing down the spread of the disease but this was unsuccessful and this treatment has now stopped. Steven is now at home, being made as comfortable as possible by his family and plans to marry Becki this week.
