In Memory of Peter Richmond ♟️

We are raising funds in loving memory of Peter Richmond, a truly dedicated member of the Swindon chess community.

Peter showed amazing commitment, always volunteering come rain or sunshine. He supported chess at ChessMAX Junior Chess Club, as well as sessions at the Link Centre, Beachcroft Library, and The Brown Jack. Most recently, he helped grow ChessMAX from just 5 junior players to over 60, something he was incredibly proud of.

His kindness, patience and passion for chess touched so many lives, both young and old.

All funds raised will be given directly to Jane Richmond to help towards funeral expenses and charitable donations in Peter’s memory.
