As a child I went through the care system and the help was limited, for me this resulted in homelessness, substance abuse and mental health issues. I see this as my opportunity to raise some money and awareness for a cause that is helping to make the lives of vulnerable children better to ensure that they have the knowledge that there is help and support out there that can keep them safe.
