Story
This is Tess a lovely new family dog that had been rescued. She wasn’t well so ended up going to vets. They found Tess had serious internal damage where someone had tried to harm her. The bill would of been over £8000 to operate on her and her owners were now faced with a horrible choice of having her put to sleep as they were unable pay such a large sum of money.
To cut a long story short this is where sussexpetrescue.org come in to save the day and pay for the operation to be done. Saving Tess so she can enjoy her life with her lovely new owners.
In late September I am running 170miles over 7 days in the Grand 2 Grand in the Grand Canyon Nation park in the USA. This is a self supported race which means I carry all my food and equipment I’ll need for duration except for water and a tent. Distances of 26miles up to 52miles will be ran over the 7 days. I’d like to run this for sussexpetrescue.org (charity no.1048731) to help them with dogs like Tess. You can see Tess every now and then at the Brooksteed Ale house where her owners work. You can also leave any funds you like to give at the Brooksteed who are also collecting for this fundraiser for me. Anything is gladly appreciated. Thankyou and lets make a difference in somebody else’s life with the help of sussexpetrescue.org
