I've raised £999 to Royal British Legion Lymington Poppy Appeal 2021

2020 turned out to be one of those years we'll be talking about for centuries.
The Covid pandemic changed the way we did many things, not least of which was our annual remembrance parade.
The restrictions put on all of us simply meant it wasn't possible to hold our usual large parade.
I decided that i'd rather go walkabout on remembrance Sunday, to visit memorials in our area and leave a wreath or a cross. Starting at Milford Memorial Hospital, then on to Keyhaven. St Mark's Pennington, Boldre War Memorial Hall, South Baddesley then on to Lymington for the 11am silence and at the same time, raise a few quid too for the Poppy Appeal.
Well, although we should be back to full strength for this years service, i've decided to do it all again, only this time to go a little further and do it with a small team, made up of veterans and supporters. The little bit further this year will include Boldre Church and the Silent Soldier at Hurst View, a total distance of 21kms.
As the team grows i'll be adding names.
