Story

I'm finishing what Paula started.

Paula started the quest of running 5 events, finishing with her first ever Half Marathon, to raise funds for Meds4Miggy. She injured her knee in a training run a month ago but went on to run the 4th event, the Ardingly 5 mile Fun Run on 3rd September, at which point she had managed to raise £360!

She has now been told by her sports physio she's out of the game for any kind of distance running for up to 3 months and won't be fit for the Chichester Half Marathon next month. In true relay style she has passed the baton to me! I will now be running the Chichester Half to raise funds for Meds4Miggy!

And this is the inspirational and worthy cause I'm now raising funds for-

Michele Ammolla was diagnosed in February last year with Stage 3 rectal cancer. Throughout the year he went through chemo, radiotherapy and finally bowel surgery, all with a positive outcome. But in March of this year further scans showed nodules on his lungs which had also spread to his liver, Micheles' diagnosis is now terminal. The only hope Michele now has to prolong his life long enough to be with his beautiful wife,Georgina and see his '2 gorgeous boys grow up into young men' are drug therapies that can only be funded for privately.

You can read more about Michele and this wonderful cause at http://www.meds4miggy.com or Facebook page Meds4Miggy
