Hi, my name is Peter Walker and I am trying to raise money so I am able to attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree

I have been lucky enough to be selected to attend the Jamboree in 2023 and I want to be able to go because it is a once in a lifetime experience, I've never left the country before which would mean that this would be another first for me and look forward to experiencing many other cultures.

I have been part of 2nd Rainham (Wesley) Group since I was a Beaver when I was six and am now I am helping in all the younger sections as a young leader (14yrs), having been a cub and a scout and would love to represent them at this international event.

The World Scout Jamboree includes a pre-show, the actual Jamboree and the after show. The actual Jamboree takes place from the 2nd-12th August 2023. We are looking to raise £3600 which will cover the IST base fee, Travel, Pre/post Event, IST enhanced kit, insurance and my Passport

I will be applying for grants, doing sponsored events and fundraising through out the year too but will need to be fully funded by the beginning of January 2023.
